European Commission Press release Brussels, 30 Apr 2024 Today, the European Commission has opened formal proceedings to assess whether Meta, the provider of Facebook and Instagram, may have breached the Digital Services Act (DSA).
During the ceremony marking the 20th anniversary of the 2004 EU enlargement, European Council President Charles Michel stressed the importance of enlargement in making Europe stronger and more sovereign, integrated and united.
The Council has today given its final approval to the directive on time limits for the adoption of sustainability reporting standards for certain sectors and third country undertakings.
The Council decided to extend the mandate of the EU Advisory Mission in support of Security Sector Reform in Iraq until 30 April 2026.
