The Commission is reinvesting €3.4 billion of revenues from the EU ETS into more than 70 net-zero technology projects across Europe. These projects, in sectors like renewable energy and critical raw materials processing, will contribute to the EU’s clean transition, energy independence and security.
The European Commission has granted more than €390 million to 135 new climate and environment projects across Europe. The projects will cover nature and biodiversity, accelerating the clean energy transition, contributions to the clean economy and climate adaptation and mitigation measures.
