New rules to put a fair price on carbon start to apply on 1 October

As of 1 October, new rules will put a fair price on carbon emitted during the production of certain goods entering the EU, and encourage cleaner industrial production in non-EU countries. For now, they will apply to imports of cement, iron, steel, aluminium, fertilisers, electricity and hydrogen.

Over €352 million in EU funding for green transport projects
