During the ceremony marking the 20th anniversary of the 2004 EU enlargement, European Council President Charles Michel stressed the importance of enlargement in making Europe stronger and more sovereign, integrated and united.

The Council has today given its final approval to the directive on time limits for the adoption of sustainability reporting standards for certain sectors and third country undertakings.

The Council decided to extend the mandate of the EU Advisory Mission in support of Security Sector Reform in Iraq until 30 April 2026.

Press Release The EUAA will adapt its operational support to the Greek authorities to increase focus on vulnerable applicants, in light of the changing needs in the country.  The Agency’s amended operational support to Greece will also provide support with registering and processing the increased number of applications.
